Description

Goodbac contains live microorganisms such as Lactobacillus species, Bifidobacterium species, and beneficial yeasts. These help restore and maintain the balance of intestinal microflora.

Lactobacillus acidophilus: Naturally found in dairy, grains, meat, and fish. It inhabits the intestines, mouth, and vagina, protecting against harmful bacteria.
Lactobacillus bulgaricus: Used in yogurt production; breaks down lactose and produces lactic acid, helping those with lactose intolerance.
Bifidobacterium bifidum: Normal inhabitant of the human colon, especially in breast-fed infants; helps maintain gut health.

Pharmacology

Probiotics help reduce gastrointestinal inflammation by:

Strengthening epithelial barrier function
Stimulating lactic acid-producing bacteria
Competing with pathogens for binding sites
Inducing regulatory T cells to control inflammation

They also enhance immune activity and antioxidant capacity through metal ion chelation and scavenging of reactive oxygen species.
