Composition (per spoonful)

Psyllium husk: 3.5 g (active ingredient)

When mixed with water, the husk forms a thick gel that relieves constipation and regularizes bowel movement.

Description Psyllium husk is a mild laxative containing about 80% soluble fibre. Its main chemical component is mucilage, which is highly effective in chronic constipation, piles, hemorrhoids, and colon cancer. It soothes gastric and intestinal mucosa, making it useful in gastric irritation and ulceration. Psyllium also lowers LDL cholesterol and reduces blood glucose, making it suitable for obese and diabetic patients.
