Indications

Urobery is indicated for:

Treatment and prevention of urinary tract infection (UTI).
Kidney stones.

Pharmacology

Cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon) is a native North American plant commonly used to reduce the occurrence of urinary tract infections (UTIs) and manage kidney stones. Cranberry reduces the need for repeated antibiotic use in recurrent UTIs. Since bacterial adherence to mucosal surfaces is the initial event in most infectious diseases, cranberry works by inhibiting bacterial adherence to the bladder and urethral lining. At higher doses, it acts as a urinary antiseptic and reduces stone formation. Recent studies show up to 65% reduction in UTI incidence with cranberry consumption, leading to reduced antibiotic use and fewer recurrent cystitis episodes.
